Courtyard Bridal was the 5th (and final) bridal shop I went to whilst dress shopping. The whole experience was stress free, enjoyable and Marie was so helpful! She also steamed the dress a few days before the wedding as well. Fantastic service.

Hiya, I had booked to search 4 shops for my wedding dress with my 3 bridesmaids and my young flowergirl. Marie’s Courtyard Bridal shop was my 3rd shop in the booked list and I didn’t want to go to the 4th after my lovely experience and amazing dresses that I tried on in Marie’s! Had an amazing time at Marie’s shop, I never expected that trying dresses could be so much fun as I normally hate shopping and never wear dresses!!! Marie was lovely to us, we all felt welcome and she offered us all drinks and suggested we picked lots of dresses & I let my bridesmaids do that and after she picked a few for me to try too that they hadn’t chosen that she thought would be good, and they were! then they sat on the sofa & I went behind the curtain and Marie helped me try them all on, and I they all got to see them on me too. Marie really helped me, she put them on me and completely did the laces of all dresses properly up, lol I think she’s an expert at doing as it seemed easy when I know it’s not! She was really friendly and helpful and I got to see what every dress looked like on properly done up where as not all shops did that. Marie also suggested I wear something that makes sure the dress doesn’t tough my legs and it’s amazing, I’m gettjng one of those too, it makes wearing a wedding dress so much easier! And suggesed veils and tiaras snd I found perfect ones that went with my fav dress too! I esp loved 2 dresses and tried them a few times and my bridesmaids loved all dresses I tried on too...every dress in Marie’s shop is beautiful and her shop is spotless clean as well as she’s lovely. Such an amazing experience, as I couldn’t decide which if the 2 I loved best I went back ASAP with 2 difference good friends and tried them in agsin and a few more too! Fun agajn! Then decided which was def my fav, we celebrated and I got my dress very happy! I have been back since to try on my dress now my new correct size dress has arrived and I’m so happy with my choice and that it is from Marie’s courtyard, the best place I went to and I feel so safe that Marie will look after everything there for me and have it altered if needed and will get it cleaned agsin before my wedding too, so it will be perfect and I really feel like a princess in it! I think that Marie is lovely as a person and has an amazing shop too, so much choice of beautiful dresses and will give her honest opinion if asked which I really value, thankyou! Can’t wait to wear my dress on my big day!

I visited courtyard bridal to look at some dresses with my mother in law and I must say the whole experience was amazing. I was very nervous and Marie made me feel so relaxed and no rushed at all. I was able to try on many dresses and when I found “the one” I was totally overwhelmed and emotional. Marie was so supportive and I am so glad I found my dress here.

I could not have been happier with the service I received from Marie and Sammy at Courtyard Bridal - they were both absolutely brilliant. I had an appointment at 5pm on a Friday and left 3 hours later having tried on 20 dresses! The range was fantastic, suitable for all budgets and so many different styles. Marie was so patient and helpful throughout and I ordered my dress from her the following day. I also wanted to find a belt to go with the dress and again, Marie helped me find the one that matched perfectly. Sammy was amazing too when I tried on my dress once it had come in, and I felt like an absolute princess. Since my wedding I have recommended Courtyard to others and they have bought their dress from Marie as well! I cannot recommend them more highly!

Had such a amazing service from marie. Spent a few hours with her help to find the perfect dress and was able to go back the following day with a bridesmaid and mother in law. Will be recommending!

I wish I was getting married again just to wear a dress from this shop! They truly are stunning and more than that, Marie the owner is lovely! I met Marie at a wedding fayre and was stunned by her dress collection! So much so that we went on to do a couple of photoshoots together where I had the pleasure of working with Marie. I first met Marie at a wedding fair and she was so lovely I remembered her for when I was ready to start trying on dresses. When that time came, I booked an appointment and came along with my Maid of Honour and was so blown away with the service I received. You get an hour appointment where you can try on as many dresses as possible, so you get a real personal experience and feel super special. Choosing a dress for your wedding day is such a big deal and Marie and her team take this as seriously as you do - which I didn’t find at all in any of the other places I tried on dresses. Once I chose my dress, I came to try it on quite a few times as was losing weight to get into a smaller size for my big day. Marie was more than accommodating and so so supportive during the process, she was always excited to hear about my wedding plans and really made me feel like I was the only bride she was dealing with and always complimented me on how I looked beautiful in my dress. Marie has a true passion for weddings that shines through with everything she does. Every bride deserves to be made special and Marie is the one for the job. Her wedding dress collection is amazing and the only shop I found where I tried on 10+ dresses, there is normally a sale or some clearance with lovely dresses for those who have a smaller budget. As many of the dresses are made to order, Marie even got them to made the back higher to give me some extra coverage. Marie will go above and beyond. I highly recommend you say yes to the dress at Courtyard Bridal!

After going with my best friend to get her dress from Courtyard Bridal, when it was my turn I knew this was the first shop I wanted to look in. The gorgeous dresses sell themselves (the sample dresses are so well looked after) but Marie is fantastic. She is so friendly and helpful, and made sure it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere for a nervous bride-to-be with an important decision on her hands! Marie wasn't pushy at all (the whole experience was far nicer than with some of those other pretentious stores!) and after a few trips back to the store (I am terrible at making decisions), I was sold on my dream dress. I have been recommending Courtyard ever since. You really needn't go anywhere else!

Marie at Courtyard bridal could not have helped me more. This was the first wedding dress shop I had been too, I had a vague idea of what I wanted but I actually thought I would only be going there to get some ideas and to see what styles suit me, so I was only with my sister, my mum and my bridesmaids weren’t there as I told them I wouldn’t be buying from the first shop I went too. Well I couldn’t be more wrong, Marie was amazing, she was so kind, helpful and informative and I fell in love with my dress as soon as I tried it. I had to call my mum straight away as I wanted to buy it there and then but I just couldn’t do it without my mum having seen it. So as I thought I would only be trying on dresses to get some ideas I hadn’t actually looked at some of the prices of the dresses I had tried on, which worried me when I asked Marie how much the dress I was wearing is. She then totally took me by surprise, she told me the price but also informed me that she has the larger size of the exact same dress in the sale so she just swapped the tags over and saved me hundreds of pounds!! I could not believe her honesty and kindness in doing this for me. I would of been none the wiser about the reduced price larger dress, she really went above and beyond for me. The boutique is lovely with loads of room to change, lots of choices of dresses and a sofa with bubbly for when I went back with my bridesmaids which Marie was more than accommodating too. I highly recommend Courtyard Bridal, Marie clearly puts her and heart and soul into wedding dresses and her business.
