Come to a venue where we really care, meet the owners on arrival for your private tour and see how our beautiful home can be your very own on your wedding day. At Penton Park there is something for everyone, the Sitting Room for Granny, the Ballroom for dancing and the Bar with full size Snooker Table, plus our very own ale which goes down a treat with the men of every generation! Each of our 20 weddings has total exclusivity over a three day period, set up Friday, hold your wedding Saturday and return at your leisure Sunday or Monday to collect your belongings. Want something unique - no problem we are as flexible as you need; we've had three ceremonies to celebrate a multicultural marriage, and the family dogs joining in the big day! We also have 2 licensed outdoor spaces as well as all our indoor rooms licensed too. We love taking the time to hear all your plans and help create the dream day you deserve, but don't just read it here why not pop over for a celebratory glass of Prosecco and a chat about your plans.

We are about as far away from the "treadmill venue" hosting only 20 weddings a year, and only ever one wedding a weekend - we personally get to know all of our couples and are passionate about making sure your day is perfect. Last Saturday my partner Matt and I got married under the gazebo at Penton Park with a string quartet playing beside us. Guests were seated on a lawn mown to size in the wild meadow. Afterwards we had a confetti shot outside the front of the beautiful house before heading to the lawn for our reception. Guests played croquet, took photos of themselves in the hammock and on the swing, and said hello to Marmaduke, Penton Park's friendly Irish Wolfhound, and Fudge, the loveliest little lurcher, who we asked to join us for part of the reception. We dined then danced in the ballroom. By the end of the night guests could be found on the dancefloor, playing the piano and signing around it, chatting by the bar and catching up with family around the fire pit or curled up on the sofas. It's such a versatile venue and for a day it feels like home, filled with all your favourite people. Danielle, her husband Guy and Michelle, the Events Coordinator, took such wonderful care of us and our guests. They are so warm, knowledgeable, responsive, thoughtful and helpful - everything you could ever want when planning your wedding and enjoying the day itself. If you want to see just how organised they are, ask to see one of the event sheets they put together after their final operational meeting with each couple (4-6 weeks before the wedding) - you know you're in the safest pair of hands once you've seen how much they think of for you!Last Saturday my partner Matt and I got married under the gazebo at Penton Park with a string quartet playing beside us. As we live overseas, we booked Penton Park for our wedding "sight unseen" and any nervousness we had immediately disappeared when we saw it for the first time and were greeted by Danielle and Guy like old friends - and with a glass of champagne. It was everything we were looking for - a beautiful outdoor space and historic country house, an intimate and personal setting, the most wonderful hosts, a place that felt like home, and not least a giant dog! This is the polar opposite to a corporate wedding factory, it is a true home and it was an honour that we were able to get married there. We felt so special, like old friends! Michelle and Danielle were so attentive to our many questions, and seemed genuinely pleased and excited about all our plans as we were. We had no problem organizing things from afar, and used many of the excellent "preferred suppliers" from Penton Park, which made things really easy. On the day, everything went flawlessly thanks to the superb organization skills of Michelle and even though we had to implement our wet weather plan, the ballroom looked so beautiful that now I couldn't imagine anything else. The happy memories of our wedding are forever intertwined with Penton Park. For us, it was the perfect venue for such a special day. We had our wedding reception here in the summer and could not have picked a better place. The venue is stunning and Danielle and Michelle are superb at making the day absolutely perfect. Danielle and Guy really the hosts with the mosts. Warm, welcoming and inviting!!! Nothing was too much trouble and from morning to evening we were looked after. Despite quite a miserable typically British weather type of day, the fires were lit, inviting guests to spend time in which every room suited their needs. Local brewed ales and gin cocktaiils were the hit of the day. My husband and I are gutted it's all over, but as jet off on our honeymoon, we take with us the memory of PentonDanielle and Guy really the hosts with the mosts. Warm, welcoming and inviting!!! the suppliers did a fantastic job in welcoming us into their home, the whole experience was shared with much warmth & felt very personal. We received excellent recommendations for vendors (great DJ already included in wedding package). Our wedding was incredibly organised (despite us living abroad!), they paid great attention to detail and made every possible effort to accommodate to our needs (like having their family dogs groomed for the wedding & including them in our wedding pics!) perfect!!the suppliers did a fantastic job in welcoming us into their home, the whole experience was shared with much warmth & felt very personal. We received excellent recommendations for vendors (great DJ already included in wedding package). We fell in love with Penton Park for our winter wedding not only because it is such a beautiful, heart-warming and welcoming place full of character for our Christmas winter wedding but also because Danielle and Michelle were faultless! Their attention to detail was unbelievable and reassuring it was so nice to have your mind put at rest knowing you're in safe hands! The day couldn't have been any more fluid, everything perfectly set up, nothing too much trouble and timing down to a T- the complete running of the day was gold standard. They were incredible and so friendly from day 1. Their home is a truely stunning hampshire gem! My sister and brother-in-law had their wedding there Saturday 19th November. Very impressed with the venue, the owners were lovely and caterers, bar staff, door men and co-ordinators were amazing. It was a brilliant day for everyone, there was an atmosphere that could only be described as magical and I'm sure every single family member and guest enjoyed every single minute. I know I did and I'm in no doubt Rosie and John did tooMy sister and brother-in-law had their wedding there Saturday 19th November. Very impressed with the venue, the owners were lovely and caterers, bar staff, door men and co-ordinators were amazing. It was a brilliant day for everyone, there was an atmosphere that could only be described as magical and I'm sure every single family member and guest enjoyed every single minute. It makes no difference if it's a Traditional Wedding, two guys or two ladies getting Married in Penton Park, everyone is treated the same, with courtesy , professionalism and great eye for detail. It's a beautiful setting , romantic , warm & most importantly friendly ! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, in fact my partner and I will get Married here in the future following our Civil Partnership 5 years ago !It makes no difference if it's a Traditional Wedding, two guys or two ladies getting Married in Penton Park, everyone is treated the same, with courtesy , professionalism and great eye for detail. It's a beautiful setting , romantic , warm & most importantly friendly ! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, in fact my partner and I will get Married here in the future following our Civil Partnership 5 years ago !

The MOST amazing, incredible wedding day we ever could have wished for with outstanding hosts (thank you Michelle, Danielle, Guy and all the fantastic Penton staff), it felt like a house party (albeit a very classy and beautiful house) we could not have felt more welcome and at home throughout the day and evening... in fact even the morning after was a delight!The MOST amazing, incredible wedding day we ever could have wished for with outstanding hosts (thank you Michelle, Danielle, Guy and all the fantastic Penton staff), it felt like a house party (albeit a very classy and beautiful house) we could not have felt more welcome and at home throughout the day and evening... in fact even the morning after was a delight!
