Ruth was very professional from start to finish and understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake - offering advice where necessary. When I saw our cake for the first time it totally exceeded my expectations - it was perfect. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted absolutely amazing.

Fantastic service and even more fantastic cake! So many people have commented on the cake and especially the taste (both sponge and fruit).

Very good and friendly service

Ruth was fabulous because she didn't insist on a face to face consultation, but rather through emails, and using Pinterest ideas. Some brides just don't have the time, but still want the bespoke service! Hats off to Ruth for recognising the individual needs of potential clients.

Totally amazing - we knew what we want and how we wanted it, we decided later on that we wanted some cupcake, and we trusted them with the design and we were not disappointed. We had so many good comments about the quality of the cake and how tasty it was as well as looking beautiful. The whole experience was hassle free totally what you want when you are planning a wedding.

Ruth did a great job. The cake tasted fantastic and looked perfect in the castle setting. She really interpreted the brief and added enough additional twists to delight and surprise us on the day.

Ruth came highly recommended by our wedding venue. We visited her at her premises in Southwell and she had a full range of products for us to view and to taste. She demonstrated a keen interest in us as customers and she showed full understanding of what we wanted. She also offered suggestions to further compliment our ideas. The finished product was everything we had hoped for.

I felt that Ruth at Southwell Cakery understood what I wanted for my wedding cake straight away and really helped with the design process and with the final decision, she made the whole process so easy and straight forward.

Cake was exactly as I'd asked for and price was extremely good value for money. Highly recommend.
