Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, Classy, modern, different, affordable
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our customer service! I'm also proud to be able to call some of our brides my friends now too. I also can't wait for my own daughters wedding in 2017 as she will be wearing one of our designer gowns, that will be a very proud moment too.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Keep calm and discuss everything together. Agree a budget and keep to it. Talk everything through so that you both know what each other is thinking and don't argue over the little things you can't change. Most of all remember it's your day you have to do what feels right for you as a couple. xx
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are lots! Photos of the brides grandparents in a brooch attached to her bouquet was a lovely way of her having them with her. Handmade favours and personalised gifts for the wedding party is lovely too. My friend had bow ties made for her two labradors that attended her wedding, that was cool!
What do you love most about your job?
The look on the brides face when she finds "the one" and seeing her literally float out of the shop with happiness!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I have so many favourites, it changes every time we see a new range! My current favourite is a 1950's inspired Audrey Hepburn style mikado satin gown that is so elegant and timeless, a real classic.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
I stitch a little blue flower inside every dress I sell! My brides love it but they also love to wear a lace garter with a little blue bow too.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
My mum's! It was a beautiful lace gown with a boat neckline and long lace sleeves. The lace was beautiful and it could still be worn today. She had a tiny waist and it really showed this off.
