Athena Strings

A BIG thank you to Athena Strings for playing our ceremony and for truly making our day. I had my heart set on walking down the aisle to Holst’s Jupiter (I Vow to Thee) and was so pleased when we found it in Athena Strings repertoire, it was magical. Dealing with Jess in the lead up to the wedding was effortless, she was so friendly and the website and client area was easy to use which was great. All of our guests commented on how amazing the guys were and that they complemented the ceremony and setting perfectly, with many of our guests tearing up due to the beautiful music. Thank you again you again, you are all incredibly talented!

We have recently booked Athena for our wedding. Such an amazing mix of songs and willing to take on new requests. Just absolutely perfect for what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble!

I’ve always been a massive fan of strings so I knew I definitely wanted it to be a part of my special day. And Athena Strings did not disappoint! I was really impressed with how they sounded on the day and the choice of music was exactly what I’d asked for. Created a great atmosphere and had guests mentioning how good they were.

I first come to know about Athena strings when looking for a string quartet for our wedding. My now husband and I instantly fell in love with their sound so we contacted them immediately. They were so quick to reply to any questions each time we contacted them, and so friendly, thorough yet professional with such an extensive repertoire. They even went out of their way to play at our venue which was out of their usual area. Hearing them play as I walked down the aisle was an experience I’ll never forget. Their sound is amazing and far exceeded the expectations I’m formed even hearing them online! After the church they travelled to our reception venue to play until the wedding breakfast. All of our guests commented on how brilliant they were, playing modern songs as well as old classics to suit everyone!! Thank you Athena, you truly were fantastic and had such a wonderful impact on our day!!

We booked Athena Strings for our wedding in June 2018. From the get go, they were very responsive with the messages and very accommodating with any requests we had. They were punctual on the day and played amazingly. All of our guests commented on how good they were. I highly recommend them.

We would just like to say a big thank you for being part of our special day. It wouldn't of been the same without you. Ourselves and our guests certainly had a fantastic time and we will defiantly be recommending you in the future.

These guys are just amazing. Such talented musicians with a huge variety of music to choose from. They played at our wedding a few weeks ago and we couldn't have asked for a nicer touch.
