Nigel Hammond Music

Nigel played piano for our wedding ceremony and reception in March 2020 at Chicheley Hall. Throughout the whole planning process Nigel was fantastic, always happy to talk through ideas, give his professional advice and accomodate special requests. Even on the day there were some last minute changes to the set up of our ceremony due to the coronavirus situation, but to look at Nigel you'd have thought that it had always been planned that way. The music itself was amazing, beautifully played by Nigel and added a lovely relaxed and happy ambience to our day - many guests commented on it, including those watching the live stream video at home! Thank you so much Nigel!

Nigel was an excellent addition to our wedding. He played during our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast adding a lovely touch to each for a nice ambiance. Received lots of comments from guests about his excellent music which was varied. Would throughly recommend if looking to add some live background music during your day!

We recently got married at Holmewood Hall in Cambridgeshire and decided it would be lovely to make use of the baby grand piano for our drinks reception. We really struggled to find a local pianist but after much searching online I came across the lovely Nigel who was willing to travel. He had such wonderful reviews, that despite not having actually met him, we decided to book him anyway. From our initial enquiry he was so prompt and professional with organising all the details to meet our requirements, which gave us further confidence we’d made the right decision. On the day he played so very beautifully and it created such a lovely atmosphere in the hall. You’d never have thought it was his first time playing on their baby grand piano. Lots of our guests commented not only on the music but also how nice Nigel was when they had spoken to him. Our two little boys were over the moon when he played them the jungle book medley! Nigel played during our wedding ceremony at the Barns Hotel, Bedford. We selected a range of pieces from his repertoire and Nigel also played a few requests. We and our guests loved the atmosphere it created and enjoyed spotting the songs! The day would not have been the same without it! The whole service from set up, presentation and performance was incredibly professional. We’d highly recommend Nigel for weddings!
