Fuller Photography Full Description
I capture your wedding in many differing styles; from every ounce of energetic fun, to every moment of emotion. Stepping back with documentary photography for the intimate, natural moments. Creating still life pictures for the details. Timeless portrait photography for Mum & Dad and contemporary fine art photography for you and your bridal party. If something or someone is important to you, it’s important to me. Everyone deserves to have stunning wedding photographs. “We hate having our picture taken!” I hear this from nearly every person who steps bravely in front of the camera. It’s my job to make you feel at ease and help release your inner Audrey Hepburn; to transform, to give you confidence and see yourselves in my images as beautiful as you are. When booking me you don’t just get a photographer; you get a planner, a stylist, a creative, a confidant, a timekeeper, a ninja, a wealth of industry knowledge and someone who is as excited about your wedding as you are. I'm one of only a handful of qualified master wedding photographers operating in Norfolk. My packages are simple and I operate my business how I would like to be served, with transparency, honesty and a big heart. I’m so looking forward to hearing about your special day.

Karen is an amazing photographer.

Karen is an amazing photographer and will make you feel so special. She made us feel relaxed when taking the photos and this helped calm us trough out the time spent with her. I thoroughly recommend Karen to anyone getting married xx

I will forever be thankful that we chose Karen to take the most special photographs we have ever seen.

When Karen shot our wedding at the Cley Windmill two weeks ago, she did so much more than just take photographs. Her vision and creativity captured the magic of our wonderful day superbly, she kept things moving to schedule and also managed to make herself practically invisible amongst only a handful of guests. Not a moment was missed and our stunning images will be cherished forever as reminders of the best day of our lives - and I will forever be thankful that we chose Karen to take the most special photographs we have ever seen.

Karen was brilliant!!

Not only was she an amazing photographer, but she was also a meteorologist! We had thunderstorms on our wedding day and Karen was watching the Doppler Radar like a hawk. Our photos turned out beautiful and you would never know we were dodging buckets of rain. Karen is super organised and she knew the venue very well, which showed, she worked very efficiently all we had to do was follow her lead. Thank you very much for these lovely photographs Karen, it portrayed our wedding day perfectly and we will cherish them forever!

Karen is THE BEST!

She produced some stunning photos for our wedding and we're constantly receiving compliments about them. I arrived at the venue slightly late and was in a bit of a flap but Karen made me feel at ease whilst I was getting ready. I always feel awkward when having my photo taken but again Karen made me feel relaxed and the results were brilliant. We had a very unique day and Karen managed to capture everything down to the last details. We would definitely recommend Karen!

Exactly what we were after!

Our brief to Karen was to capture the candid, more natural moments of shared laughter, tender hugs & new connections. We wanted her to be our eyes so we shouldn’t miss a thing and she excelled at this! Then for the portraits, she invested a huge amount of time getting to understand our venue, us & what we held dear. The result was that she captured memories from the day that will never be forgotten - exactly what we were after! Thank you Karen x

She made us and our guests feel at ease when taking the photos with her bubbly down to earth personality.

We got married in June 2015 and what a pleasure it was to have Karen as our photographer. She made us and our guests feel at ease when taking the photos with her bubbly down to earth personality. She has brilliant ideas and talent for the photos that she takes , we particularly liked the natural shots that she takes. We would highly recommend Karen . It was a pleasure to have her as part of our special day .

For anyone reading this, Karen is one of life's most beautiful people, her talent shines out in her work.

We are writing this review on celebrating our first wedding anniversary as it seems more appropriate to comment and this stage rather than directly after the event of our Wedding Day which took place at the Cley Windmill in North Norfolk on the 15th May 2014. We first met Karen at a Wedding Fayre and within minutes of engaging with her we knew that she was the photographer for us as her flair and attention to detail was most impressive. We explained to Karen that our theme was based on “Pride and Prejudice” and that Rob would be wearing a modern adaptation of the dress Mr Darcy would have worn complete with riding boots, breeches and stove pipe hat. Karen was immediately excited as she herself has a passion for that era. We selected the package that suited us best but later found that we quickly added to our portfolio all testament to the professionalism and flare that Karen displayed. We had a fantastic pre-Wedding shoot at Blickling Hall where Karen made us feel like celebrities. We had so much fun posing in doorways and amongst the daffodils the day is and will remain a lasting memory and the images produced are tiny jewels. Karen communicated with us leading up to the day by which time she had drafted reams of notes to ensure that the day was captured for posterity. Working hard on both Fusion film and photographs kept her busy throughout the day, but Karen was not fazed in any way. She even helped me to get into my bridal gown as my elderly mother struggled with the buttons on my gown. Karen applied the theme of “circles” into our day to replicate the motion of the windmills sails along with tiny touches linked to “Darcy and Elizabeth. Shortly after our special day, Karen informed us that she had completed our Fusion Film and that we would be receiving it shortly. She gave the instruction to sit down and enjoy watching with a glass of champagne. To say that we were awestruck was an understatement: the disc was beautifully presented in a handmade sleeve making it a stunning keepsake. We watched it several times over so as to appreciate the skill and attention to detail. Turning shoes and stove pipe hat, waltzing in the court yard to walking across the reed beds just as Darcy did with Elizabeth. The attention to detail was incredible and we couldn't wait to see the still images captured during our day. Soon afterwards we received the proofs and just couldn't decide which images shone out from the others. We decided to purchase all of them and included as many as we could into our final wedding album which is absolutely stunning. Karen, we are still to this day in marvel of our Wedding Day, the way the sun shone and everything slotted into place but most of all just how professional you were. You captured every aspect of our wedding and our family and friends are still to this day reminiscing about it. They, as we do, have many treasured memories, most of which you have captured to treasure forever. For anyone reading this, Karen is one of life's most beautiful people, her talent shines out in her work. She is professional and trustworthy, bringing you lasting memories of your special day to treasure forever. Karen, we cannot thank you enough for what you produced for us, we will never forget you and will recommend you at every opportunity.

KAREN IS AMAZING-book her!!

So it's taken me a while to write this. Not because Karen is not great (because she is) just because words don't quite seem to give her skills justice. Karen photographed our day in an unobtrusive way and yet the results were breathtaking!!! So much so infact that we are struggling to pick out which images we want in our album. KAREN IS AMAZING-book her!!

We can never thank Karen enough for her kindness, support and incredible style.

We wanted someone who loved small weddings and most importantly was fun - Alice said she knew just the person. We wanted a relaxed wedding with a focus on our vows and photography to match, so when we met Karen and she talked through her approach we didn't hesitate in snapping her up. Karen was instrumental in helping organise the timings of our day and giving advice on when Rus and I had time together as well as building in time to chat to our guests - this might sound obvious but when there are so many things to consider, it's not, it made a huge difference to our day. We'd accepted that with a January wedding, we would probably have thunder and lightening all day; one of the first things Karen asked us to do at our initial meeting was to think of plans A-D for photographs so that we had plans based on various types of weather (plan A being what we would love to do if it was dry - Plantation Gardens - and plan D for if it was hail and thunder - small amount outside and the rest inside the St Giles). This was fabulous as we all knew ahead of the day what we would do & everyone's expectations were the same. Rus and I wanted some outside photos so Karen knew that regardless of how bad the weather was, we'd be outside for at least some of it - she even bought umbrellas on the day just in case! Rus and I are not ones for being the centre of attention so we were a bit nervous about our portraits as we didn't want them to look awkward - Karen knew this from our earlier meeting. Karen took charge in a beautifully authoritative way on the day and guided us from the second we left the ceremony and throughout the portraits. We really needed this guidance and Karen's skill, professionalism and fun clearly bought out the best in us. What we loved the most is that she was keen for us to enjoy our first moments of marriage; it was asthough she wanted to capture our happiness yet not intrude on our first moments as hubband and wificicle (as we call it!). From a couple who were nervous and apprehensive, we turned into a couple who had a really good laugh and massively enjoyed the experience. To top this off, Karen was at the ready with some fig rolls when we returned to the Hotel and suddenly became hungry after all the excitement! Karen snapped away all day & we realised that we hardly knew she was there outside of the posed photographs - this meant that when we viewed our gallery there were masses of 'surprise' photos which were beautiful and really captured special & intimate moments (such as when Rus was having a little breath to himself before the ceremony started, and my dad coming through the door and seeing me for the first time, amazing!). Having seen the photos in our gallery this week we can never thank Karen enough for her kindness, support and incredible style; how she got such lovely photos out of a pair who are not naturals in front of a camera we'll never know, but suffice to say we very, very much appreciate it. We will be recommending Karen to anyone and everyone who will listen and no doubt friends will be booking up with her soon. We couldn't recommend anyone more highly. Thank you Karen, you are quite simply, a very lovely human! x

Karen is a fabulous photographer!

Karen is a fabulous photographer! She captured our wedding beautifully and got the exact shot we had imagined when we booked our venue! Everyone has commented on how lovely both our engagement photos and our wedding photos are! Karen is really lovely and I'd recommend her to anyone! Both James and I thoroughly recommend having an engagement shoot. We were really nervous about having our photos taken professionally in public / posing in front of everyone at our wedding, but Karen put us both at ease, quickly got us into the swing of things and we loved it! We then knew exactly what to expect for our wedding day!
