I am a professional Photographer based in Staffordshire but will travel to photograph the story of your awesome day. I love ALL weddings and love anything a bit different ...outdoor ceremony, hand fasting, boat ride, beach wedding, woodland reception...whatever it is I'd love to capture it for you, I want to photograph Your Story. Your Adventure.
I mainly work in an unobtrusive way to make sure I get those natural , relaxed, candid images of your friends and family but will also offer subtle direction when needed, working with light and composition to create images that really stand out.
I believe that it's not just about the images but how they're presented that makes them special and that's why I've taken the time to carefully source suppliers that make beautiful high quality heirloom albums, prints and print boxes to be treasured for years to come.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Maintaining high quality is always at the forefront of my mind. When shooting a wedding, I always aim to get the best exposure and composition in camera which means the editing process is all about polishing up and making the image the best it can be (rather than correcting mistakes!). I have taken a lot of time to select suppliers for my printed products and I now have a range available to match my photographic style and high quality standards.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan your timings well for the day - make sure you have enough time for photo's before the ceremony and group photos before the wedding breakfast. If your getting married as the nights draw make sure you plan for enough time to get all your group photos done before the light fades.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many! but I loved the little mossy terracotta pots of herbs at Sam and Neil's wedding that were put together by Sam’s Mom.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After booking with me I will meet up with the couple about a month before the wedding at the venue. During this meeting we will have a walk around the venue and look at locations for photographs. We will look at options for group photos if it should rain on the day. I will make a list people to include in group photographs and any special requests.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I always think the couple shoot is the most important. Even if you don’t want any posed photos it’s good to set a bit of time away together to get some photos of just the two of you.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I photographed all the groomsmen sitting on top of the Groom's Cousin's canal boat.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
If its drizzle then nice umbrellas and make a feature of it but if its heavy rain it really depends on the venue - I always try to plan for every wedding during the pre-consult should it rain
Describe how you got into photography.
I went on work experience to Stafford Art College (Photography Dept) when I was 15 - originally I went on to A levels as planned but after 2 weeks I couldn't help thinking how much more fun it would be on the photography college course! ...So I left and they accepted me on the course...didn't look back! :-)
