Having known Rachel socially for quite a few years we knew her work and she was a natural choice to be our wedding photographer. Her informal and candid style was perfect for our wedding; with a young family in tow we wanted the day to be as relaxed as possible. She captured the atmosphere, feel and emotion of the day perfectly from start to finish without us ever feeling pressure to pose for shots unnecessarily. With Rachel’s professionalism, style and eye for detail, we have been rewarded with the most fantastic digital gallery of photographs of our whole day that we later edited down for Rachel to produce a gorgeous photo album for us to cherish.

We cannot fault Rachel and the service she provided for our wedding celebrations. Rachel is a lovely person, so friendly and down to earth - it was like she was an extra wedding guest. Everyone loved her! Furthermore, we have been delighted with the photos, they are just what we hoped for. Rachel has captured so many happy natural elements of our celebrations as well as the beauty of the area we chose to get married in.

I can't find enough words of praise for Rachel. She came out on a rainy Tuesday to Melville Castle for a short session and captured the moment perfectly. It was just my Fiance and I and we didn't have any decorations or guests - but Rachel took photos that made our little wedding look like a fairy tale. She found the best angles and settings in the castle to create beautiful images that we will cherish. Rachel has a wonderful ease and confidence that made us totally comfortable which shows in our pictures. Everyone who has seen the photos comments on how beautiful and happy we look. Absolutely delighted with our photographs. Rachel is extremely warm and friendly and made us feel at ease. We made a last minute decision to have a photographer at our small registry office wedding and we're so happy we picked Rachel! We were lucky enough to have Rachel take photographs at both our wedding and all day party last year. The events called for different tactics, one being small and well organised, the other being large and chaotic! The end result was fantastic for both, with sets of photographs that perfectly captured the mood of the day and of our guests. Achieving this at the second even was particularly impressive given the lack of direction that we provided, and the inclement weather that Northumberland delivered. Whilst neither Bex and I are planning to get married again, if we were we'd definitely use Rachel.

We found Rachel at a small wedding fair and booked her about 2 years before we actually got married. We were so glad we did. The whole experience from start to finish was great. Rachel was friendly and professional through the whole experience. We explained what we wanted and she delivered above and beyond our expectations. On the day we had an amazing stroke of luck which meant that we got Edinburgh Castle to ourselves for the day (thank you Storm Hector) and Rachel made the most of it. We got photographs we could never have imagined getting. Rachel was so flexible and reasonably priced. Worth every single penny and more for 2 people who hadn’t thought they needed an official photographer. Thanks Rachel. We absolutely love our pictures. You captured what a wonderful and happy day it was and made the most of the opportunity Hector gave us.

Rachel was the photographer we chose for our wedding - and what a fantastic choice it turned out to be!! We couldn't have been happier when we found that Rachel was available to photograph our wedding. After seeing her work online, we felt instantly sure that she was the photographer for our big day. Prior to the wedding, we visited the venue together and discussed what we would like. Rachel took all of this on board, and had some fantastic ideas which we loved as well.
