What is your most memorable wedding?
All of my weddings have been different and therefore memorable, however, one which stands out was a wedding at Lympne castle for an Australian Athiest bride and an American, Jewish groom.
This wedding was a test of my research skills and was the perfect Non-religious ceremony with Jewish cultural elements. Great fun!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research your wedding suppliers. Ask for examples of work, testimonials and if you can meet them in person before you book....then do.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One wedding I created involved 6 sets of guests to stand up during the ceremony to give their tips for what makes a great marriage. This involved parents who had been married for 40 years aswell as friends with only 6 months experience. It was very emotional, yet incredibly funny.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I normally meet the couple over coffee as it's very important that we like each other as the ceremony is incredibly personal to create. After I am booked, I use a detailed questionnaire regarding the whole day which includes ideas, personal information and wishes/requests. I research, create & write the ceremony including everything the couple send me to include, prior to issuing the wedding script for their approval. I offer a rehearsal as part of my inclusive fee and provide all readings and vows on printed card along with a keepsake folder which includes the final script and a certificate which can be dinged and witnessed.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
I was asked to include a child-naming ceremony for the couples 3 little tots within the main wedding ceremony. So this involved bridesmaids, best men and God parents plus 3 little ones who were dressed as fairies running around the ceremony room.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I build a strong relationship with my couples and arrive at least 45 mins before the wedding is due to start so I can de-stress my couples and make sure everything is ready.
What do you love most about your job?
Where do I start? I just love weddings! I have been married for 27 years and can remember the day as if it was yesterday :)
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Introducing the couples as Mr and Mrs XX for the very first time.
