We can help create your perfect day with critically acclaimed, restaurant-quality food, bespoke cocktails and creative consultancy on all the little details that matter. Head chef Ollie Templeton (ex-Moro) and his right hand men, Matt Voisey (ex-St John Bread & Wine) and Tom Ryalls (ex-St John Bread & Wine and Moro), love to get creative, designing mouth-watering menus that are bursting with big flavours and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients for occasions big or small. As well as delicious food, we offer table decor design, cocktail consultancy, AV and lighting design, photography, live music and DJs... You name it. Whatever your requirements, we’ve got it covered, in-house, which helps keep costs down. Drop us a line and we’ll work with you to create an experience that’s truly unique and unforgettable, just as it should be. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to bring in your own caterers and production team, Carousel’s stripped back, industrial feel provides the perfect blank canvas for you to make the space your own. We have three distinct floors to choose from, as well as a charming outdoor space where you can soak up the sun.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Carousel?

Researching their perfect wedding reception venue, Ally and Alex quickly realised that they didn’t want to spend precious time communicating with separate caterers, florists, lighting experts and wedding bands. They wanted a venue that had the expertise and reliable contacts that could arrange these elements for them. Carousel provides couples with a dedicated wedding coordinator who will source beautiful flowers to your taste, bring together your desired table-decorations and sort the perfect DJ or live band to get your nearest and dearest strutting their stuff on the dance floor. Guests at Ally and Alex’s wedding dined seated around vintage banqueting tables in our Downstairs space, before making their way to the ground floor for cake cutting , the all-important speeches and delicious dessert canapés. Collaborating with Ally and Alex, we created a bespoke cocktail menu ensuring that the wedding party could sample both the Bride and Groom’s favourite flavour combinations.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A bespoke 3-course menu designed by our in-house team of chefs that drew upon the Groom's Indian heritage and the Bride's Swedish roots.

We can't just choose one!! Here are our top 3 - Prawn and fennel seed empanadas, Fried pickled cucumbers with dill yoghurt and chopped onglet beef, smoked chili mayonnaise with gem lettuce.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Our infamous 'posh kebabs' served late at night to keep the dancers' energised.

You just don't expect to find an event space like Carousel in central Marylebone.
