Dundas castle was the perfect setting for our winter wedding. The day itself was magical and the Dundas team took care of everything from the time we arrived until the day we left. Their experience and attention to detail meant that we were in safe hands and could focus on enjoying the day. We would do everything exactly the same way again. Thank you!

Everything about our wedding was perfect! We could not have asked for a more wonderful venue and team. They exceeded every expectation and helped us to create a more beautiful day than I ever could have imagined. All of our guests were blown away by the Castle and the grounds. Dundas Castle is an absolutely picture-perfect venue – from the top of the Keep to the drawing room, every photo was stunning. The team’s professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail made the planning process so easy. They embraced all our American traditions and anticipated every need. It was truly the best day of our lives.

Our wedding at Dundas was perfect from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate and our guests especially loved the Auld Keep all lit up with candles on a rainy July day. As special as the venue is, it is the team at Dundas who really made the difference. We couldn’t imagine this day without Genevieve, who put us at ease from our very first visit and made the wedding day flow perfectly. She was an incredible source of support and joy before and throughout the wedding day.

Our whole wedding weekend was magical, from the moment we arrived on Friday afternoon all the way through to waking up to a winter wonderland outside on Sunday morning. The Castle was such a spectacular venue for our special day and we had SO many comments about how wonderful both the Castle and the whole Dundas team were. We really couldn’t fault the service of your team - your friendliness and professionalism made our day that extra bit special! My personal highlights were: - spending the morning getting pampered with my girls in the Winter room. Such a beautifully decorated, warm and cosy room! - The Keep. What a fantastic place to have our ceremony! So many of our guests commented on how it was the most unique wedding ceremony they’d ever been to! - Having our own Scottish Castle for the weekend (not many people can say that!) It was so lovely to be able to have our friends and family under one roof for the whole weekend. A weekend we’ll never forget, in the most spectacular surroundings!

Our wedding at Dundas Castle was perfect! The service provided by the staff at Dundas was exceptional – they really did make our wedding stress free and ensured everything ran smoothly all weekend. All of our friends and family who stayed with us at Dundas commented on how utterly brilliant and attentive the staff were – we were made to feel like royalty! From the moment we arrived at the Castle, all my pre-wedding stress left me! The Castle itself is so comfortable and relaxing, the grounds are gorgeous, and the pavilion provided us with a blank canvas which we transformed into the marquee of our dreams! We really did have the best day of our lives, with beautiful memories that will stay with us forever.

We decided to get married in Scotland so that we could really soak in every moment of our wedding. When we found Dundas Castle and realised we could have a two day Castle wedding in beautiful South Queensferry, we knew it would be perfect. We had never seen the venue until we got there the day before the wedding. This might have made us nervous but it didn’t at all because the staff was so easy to communicate with and prepared for the big day. “From the moment we drove up the driveway of Dundas until we left the morning after the wedding everything was magical. The staff was incredibly helpful, fun, and easy to work with. Anything we needed, they had it for us. Our guests cannot stop telling us how amazing the whole experience was and the pictures with Dundas as the backdrop are absolutely incredible. The fact that we were able to have highland games in the grounds, a beautiful rehearsal dinner in the gorgeous setting of the newer part of the Castle, a ceremony in the Auld Keep, and then a reception in the pavilion is more than any couple could ask for.

We hired Dundas Castle for our wedding for two nights over July 4-5, 2019. Hollie was excellent with communication and details leading up to the day. Genevieve was an absolute DREAM the two days we were there and she just made sure everything was perfect. The entire team was top notch! From the moment we stepped into the castle they handled everything and made the day an absolute breeze. We had dinner in the stag room the night before our wedding and it was perfect. The day of the wedding was incredible and it had a lot to do with the amazing team at Dundas! I cannot recommend them enough, thank you, Dundas Castle, for making our day the best day ever at your stunning venue!

“Words cannot describe how much my husband and I enjoyed our wedding at Dundas Castle. We got married 7th July 2018 and the venue could not have been more perfect. From the initial visit to the wedding itself, the staff continued to impress us with their experience, professionalism and ability to make each and every person feel at home. The venue and the grounds are absolutely beautiful, there was so much to see that our guests were spoilt for choice. We were lucky and got a glorious sunny day and had the ceremony in the courtyard which I highly recommend. After the ceremony, the guests wandered the house, grounds (which has a field of llamas!) and the Auld Keep before moving to the Pavilion for dinner. Dinner was amazing and there was plenty of space for our 145 guests and a great dance floor for our ceilidh. Staying the night made the whole day that bit more magical. We can honestly say it was the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without the team at Dundas Castle. They made every second enjoyable and we did not have to worry about a thing. I could not recommend Dundas Castle highly enough.”

We can’t thank the team at Dundas for all their help and hard work to make our wedding day so special. Hollie was amazing during the planning, from us changing our ceremony location from the auld keep to the courtyard (best decision we made, so lucky with the weather) to letting us have table karaoke which all our guests loved. When the wedding came round Genevieve made us feel so relaxed and at home, she couldn’t do enough to help us no matter how big or small. The rest of the team were amazing, special thanks to Liam for our nightcap both nights we stayed. Our guests are still raving about what a beautiful setting we choose and how amazing the food was (prestige nailed it!). I can’t speak highly enough of Dundas Castle, I just wish we could do it all again!
