Holdsworth House Hotel

From the moment we entered the hotel to the second we left, the staff couldn't do enough, the venue is historic and simply stunning, but the staff take it to the next level. Fabulous.

Lovely personal venue with so much character and relaxed setting.

Amazing venue and wonderful staff that made our day absolutely Perfect in every way! The food was lovely and all of our guest commented on good the service was. The room was perfect and created our great atmosphere for our large night do.

We are not youngsters and wanted to be different. We had a wish list for small, friendly with open fire. We got all of our wish list and more. We did a 20s theme and opted for exclusive use, which was still affordable and great value, in our opinion. Hotel staff were great.... discreet but attentive, just what we wanted. We still go back on occasion, and are always welcomed and remembered. Great venue with excellent service, and multiple roaring open fires :-).

The location is beautiful and the gazebo was perfect for our small wedding. Sadly the hotel let us down on lots of little details

We only had a small wedding, and it wasn’t our first! The day was perfect. Attention to detail exactly what we wanted. We were truly looked after in true Yorkshire style. Right from booking to leaving we had every confidence in the team.

We waited 25 years and we picked the most special place to get married , wish we could do it all again , such an amazing day with the most important people in our lives xx

We had our ‚Winter Ball‘ wedding celebration (we got married in Germany where we live) in January 2018. My friend had previously had her Reception there in December 2017 so we got to try the venue out. Such a beautiful location, food was delicious, the cooked breakfast the next day was tasty too, accommodation brilliant especially the treats left in our room! We will cherish our memories and photos forever! Thank you Holdsworth!

We booked at Holdsworth House after staying there for a random night away. We fell in love. The building beautiful, rooms amazing and the team are out of this world... literally couldnt do anymore for us. We had an absolutely amazing day and experience overall. Highly recommended

Simply perfect. From start to finish. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The guest loved it. The food was outstanding, the taster beforehand was perfect. The entertainment, the settings , the house was amazing . Our suite , breakfast .. i could not recommend this place enough.
