Description

Weddings are a wonderful time of celebration, family and fun - there is nothing so special as time together with friends and family to celebrate love and life. We like to think we offer something quite unique... You get the whole site for a whole weekend entirely for your own exclusive use. Not just the Hall itself (perfect for putting up your guests), but all the outbuildings, and full use of all 14.5 acres. There's plenty of different kinds of spaces on site, there's loads of flexibility to create a bespoke event, or even make your wedding a mini festival! With firepits, sports pitches, tree house, Art Barn and farm animals, it's such a beautiful environment and entertaining for kids and adults alike. More importantly, as a small organisation that values wellbeing and hospitality, we will do whatever we can to make your time with us special. In fact, by having your wedding reception here, you're also directly investing in what we do as a charity, helping us to grow and develop, so your reception will be making a great difference to us too. Our price is £3,000 for fully exclusive all-site use: a DIY option where we provide some support, but leave you with a blank canvas and full responsibility for your event.

Hello, my name is David, and I am the new director on site. I am sorry to hear about your negative experience.

My brothers wedding

What a fantastic place. The weather was on our side which made the experience of this venue even better, the house and the grounds were absolutely stunning. Such a shame that the current owners/managers totally ruined our day. After confirmation and agreement to the entertainment we were having to then be constantly told to turn the volume down to such a ridiculous level it could hardly be heard, complaining that they couldn’t listen to there television was unbelievable. Our entertainment for the evening was a selection of dis to play from 7-11pm. Our music might not have been to the taste of current management but that was my brothers choice and should not have mattered, whether it be djs or live bands the venue was booked with a strict time of 11pm finished which is what we did. Being constantly told throughout the evening that management did not like the music and was too loud was rude and totally spoilt the evening for all our guests. I personally would never recommend this place for a wedding.

FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at Ringsfield Hall?

Have to choose two I'm afraid to capture both ends of the spectrum. One was a very small natural 'eco' wedding, really relaxed and personal. The other was quite a large affair with lots of guests, marquee, and band etc. What was lovely about that was the sheer enjoyment of loads of friends and family having a great time together.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Get to the point where you can completely hand things over to someone else on the Big Day itself (ideally a few days before!). Whether a trusted friend, family member, or Wedding Coordinator takes it on, it's so much better for you to be able to simply enjoy your day.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Streams of tea lights leading through the woods, where a harpist played.

Describe Ringsfield Hall in 5 adjectives

Charming, homely, peaceful, creative, natural

Where’s the best photo spot at Ringsfield Hall?

There are loads! Depends what you'd like to capture. It could be in the Dell, with Grandmother Willow as a back drop, a more formal capture besides the Hall, or even with wellies on amidst Bertie and Piggles our beautiful pigs...

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Ringsfield Hall?

Not yet!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Hmm... so many to choose from! Two come to mind: mini Yorkshire puds with pieces of beef and horseradish, and Sweet potato, pine nut and feta tartlets. Yummy.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Port and cheese?! Pizza?!! Kebab??!! (Beccles Kebab is actually really good)

What is Ringsfield Hall most unique feature?

Fully exclusive use of a creative and imaginative site.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our tagline is 'Planting Seeds of the Future', and we're very proud of the work we do as a charity. We're also very proud of our team, a wonderfully creative and practical bunch.
