River Bourne Community Farm

If you're looking for something a little unusual and rather extraordinary, then the farm is the perfect venue for your wedding reception or blessing! We have: • A large barn, which can accommodate up to 120 seated guests. • A straw bale room. • An extensive outdoor space - plenty of space for any additional marquees if needed. • Adjacent water meadows - a perfect spot for wedding photographs. • And a farmyard full of friendly animals! The farm is ideally situated in a rural setting - but still within easy commuting distance of Salisbury city centre (5 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk). The farm also benefits from having a Travelodge, Premier Inn and a campsite all within 10 minutes of the venue. Car parking and toilets are on site. We include a paying bar free of charge and we're more than happy for you to provide some of your own free drinks for your guests e.g. welcome drinks, toasts, wine on tables etc - We do not charge corkage. We're always happy to discuss your catering requirements - you can let us do it for you (an example menu is available on request) or we are happy for you to provide food yourselves or to bring in outside catering. The barn can be decorated to your taste and farm staff would be on hand to assist and advise you with this. And on top of all this, the farm is able to offer guided tours of the farm for the younger (and not so young!) guests and tractor trailer rides. There are plenty of opportunities for unique wedding photos - on our vintage tractor, taking the cute pygmy goats for a walk, with the small animals, with the donkeys or alpacas, or on the beautiful watermeadows with fantastic countryside views. From Spring 2019 we will also have Birds of Prey on the farm so photos may also be taken with those by arrangement.
