Rosewarne Manor

I chose Rosewarne Manor mostly for the fact it wasn’t too far from the church we were getting married in, but the fact that you could hire the whole venue really appealed to me. Cyril dealt with everything personally which was really nice and made the process at lot easier. There was such a huge range of food to pick from and he offered advice of what went well together and what was good for hot weather. We had hired a marquee to go in the garden of the manor and On the day of the wedding everything went so smoothly. Rosewarne and Absolute Canvas worked really well together and everything looked perfect. As the sun was setting Cyril came and told us how beautiful it looked to make sure we got some pictures. The whole team were really helpful, friendly and even got up on the mic for a sing along in the evening! The next day they even gave us all the food that was left over as he knew we were going to have a bbq. I really couldn’t recommend them enough, our whole day was so stress free!

My brother held his wedding here yesterday and what a day! The weather was perfect which enabled full use of the beautiful grounds, the staff were attentive and the food was delicious - I gather it was was all or mostly locally sourced and presented beautifully. The venue supports everything from the ceremony to a large sit down meal through to a disco in the evening. I would highly recommend this lovely venue for a similar event.

On the 2nd April, my husband and I, were very fortunate to have our Wedding reception taken care of by Cyril and his fabulous team. We chose to make enquires for our Wedding reception at Rosewarne Manor, because we had absolutely loved the food we had had at their Sunday Carvery and at their brilliant Murder Mystery nights. From our first meeting with regards to our reception, Cyril made everything so simple and smooth running. The choice of menu absolutely blew our guests away! They couldn't believe that they would even get a choice, let alone what they had to choose from! The quality of everything and value for money are absolutely outstanding. The attention to detail, from the moment our guests arrived, to the minute that my husband and I retired to their amazing Bridal Suite, was second to none. We can't thank Cyril and his team enough for helping to make our Special day so amazing

Had our wedding ceremony and reception here in May this year. Cyril and his staff were fantastic...Cyril keeps everything running smoothly but with ample time to relax. Accommodated everything we asked for and food and service were fantastic. Thank you all so much for a really special day

As a wedding photographer I get to see many wonderful venue's, but the Rosewarne really stood out for me. I was made to feel very welcome and looked after by the staff here. And the food! I was lucky enough to have the Venison (which I'd recommend). Even if your not here for a wedding, definitely check it out for the food.

On 5th March we got married at the Rosewarne Manor. Throughout the planning right up to the day itself the proprietor and staff of Rosewarne went out of their way to accommodate our wishes. For the menu we were offered an extensive selection to choose from, which covered a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and they were happy to accommodate any other dietary preferences if needed. On the day it's self, we received the most personal but unobtrusive service from the proprietor and the staff. The food was delicious, everyone commented on how good it was, tasty and presented beautifully. The waitresses were attentive without being oppressive, ready to assist immediately when needed. The establishment is very clean, tastefully decorated and laid out and the atmosphere was relaxed but efficient. Overall the Rosewarne Manor experience is one we would heartily recommend for a function as well as an excellent venue for a meal.

My son and new daughter in law have just had their wedding ceremony and reception here at Rosewarne manor. The whole team of excellent staff could not have made the day more perfect. They worked tirelessly from morning to very late evening to make sure everything we asked for was catered for. The food was excellent, as always, and the rooms were beautifully decorated just as we asked. If your looking to make your day very special then look no further. On the 09/11/19 we were Married at Rosewarne Manor. There were 36 people in total and we had never had experience of organising such an event. From our first meeting with Cyril we were put at ease as he laid out a basic plan for us. We were guided through the expected events and requirements, all his suggestions were absolutely spot on and very helpful. On the day he was there for us with a calm guiding hand but not forcing his knowledge on us. In my speech I remarked that the smooth running of the day was due to him, his family and staff. There is an air of calm friendly warmth through the Manor at all times and on our day we had the Manor completely to ourselves. The original food choice was huge and we narrowed the menu down to 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts for guests to choose from. The food, all of which is cooked on the premises by the Son and Mother was exquisite. My Wife and I have committed ourselves to a Sunday carvery. We cannot praise Rosewarne Manor enough.

We had our daughters wedding here on 10.9.16 and it truly was the most fantastic day ever! We had looked at many wedding venues throughout Devon, Cornwall & even abroad but nothing seemed quite right until we chanced upon Rosewarne. We first contacted Cyril by email and were delighted to receive such a positive, detailed reply. One of the many good things about this venue is that numerous "extras" don't suddenly appear. If you have looked at wedding venues you will know what we mean! When we visited Rosewarne we were so impressed by the building, grounds, the incredible menu choices and of course Cyril's efficiency. There was no doubt this was the place for us. All the planning went smoothly, even when we asked for a sweetheart table rather than the traditional "top" table.Early on the day Gill was busy doing everything from the gardening to the decorations whilst Cyril organised so many other things that make a wedding day perfect. The weather was spectacular so we were able to have all the photos outside whilst the guests relaxed in the sun in the lovely grounds. All the food was amongst the best we and our guests have ever tasted. From the canapes through the chef's starter platter to all the main meals & the wonderful desserts, it was faultless. If you like food you will LOVE this venue! The evening Cornish buffet had the best pasties and Cornish cheeses for any one that had room for more. The venue works so well as there are so many areas from the dance floor to the quiet dining room to the bar with friendly efficient bar staff. We also hired the apartment for 2 nights and were provided with the most delicious continental breakfast on both days. All of the staff are hard working, polite, helpful and friendly. Cyril & his wife Gill work hard to ensure everything goes according to plan and can cope with with everything from lively children to even livelier bridesmaids! Our only regret is that we didn't find this place sooner! Our heartfelt thanks go to Cyril, Gill and ALL the team for making this one of the most memorable and special days of our lives.
