Amazing venue, amazing staff!

So I thought I’d send you a message to say how absolutely over the moon we were with your venue, the service and the staff there. Thank you for making our day so special from start to finish. Sasha was amazing in helping plan out our day and helping the actual day run smoothly. Sharon , as always was there to oversee everything and made sure we were happy throughout the day. I cannot thank you all enough! Wish we could do it all again. Lots of love Mr & Mrs Whittle ( Lee & Sarah) xx

Beautiful venue, shocking wedding management

My anxiety was first raised when Samlesbury hall changed wedding planners. The new wedding planner is unorganised and couldn’t care less. The first part of my wedding was perfect, but went downhill fast after the wedding management went home after the speeches, leaving me to manage the rest of the evening.... the room turnaround, cutting the cake, the DJ and it left me running around like a headless chicken. I didn’t enjoy the evening one bit, and I was looking for the wedding planner, oblivious to the fact she had gone home without leaving someone in charge in her place. Even her staff didn’t know she had left as they too were looking for her. I opted to address it privately via email after the wedding before leaving a negative review, however when I said that she disabled the FB review feature on the Samlesbury Hall page... I’m presuming because my review wouldn’t be the only negative one.. another negative review was posted a few weeks before my wedding. The email response I got was unprofessional and rude. I did not pay a lot of money for a venue and a fixed package which included “extensive and dedicated evening management” for the wedding manager to go home 3 hours into the day.

The best wedding breakfast

All the staff who worked during the reception were extremely professional and the food was delightful. All of our guests have commented on the stunning setting and what a perfect day it was - this woudl not have happened without your help. One guest who has attended several weddings recently even said it was the best one with the best wedding breakfast. We would recommend Samlesbury Hall to anyone thinking of getting married.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Everything, absolutely everything you did for us leading up to and on the big day was amazing - from your bubbling enthusiasm and ideas, to, meeting our vision and needs. Our friends and family absolutely adored the venue and the flow of the day. I think Toast of Leed's video does a great job of showing off the venue and atmosphere too :)
