The ceremony can take place in our Conservatory, a bright, elegant room with old York stone flags, stylish rattan chairs and banquettes smothered in cushions. Fully dressed or simply as it is this room offers a romantic and original option for your special day. Our garden pavilion which is new for 2015, for that very special ceremony in our delightful gardens. Various dining options are available, from finger buffets to an exotic banquet. We have previously catered for: haggis feasts, barbeques, Indian banquets, glamorous fish and chips, wholly vegetarian, seafood banquets, champagne and sushi, and of course traditional English fayre. Overlooking the garden, the adjoining restaurant area is perfect for the wedding breakfast, with wooden floors, huge wrought iron mirrors which look spectacular by candlelight. We can also, by prior arrangement, offer the whole hotel for exclusive use for your wedding party. Stanwell House Hotel has something different for every occasion but weddings are our specialities. The hotel is a very romantic Georgian grade II listed building, yet is oozing rustic style and charm. A friendly warm welcome waits from the moment you arrive. We can cater for any number of guests, from small and intimate to wedding breakfasts seated for up to 100, when a pretty marquee can be added to our already lovely Bistro, with 150 guests in the evening.
