The Barn at Barons Hill Farm

Attended a wedding here and like I say in the title the barn is a beautiful venue.. sadly the service and the staff were awful.. to start unless you have a Range Rover or the like youre going to struggle to park in the field I mean car park..and ladies heels are a massive no no when commuting from your 4x4 to the venue itself.. wellies would be a wise choice of footwear unless we’ve had a heatwave..bar prices were so high that we could have been in the west end of London..the food was very mis mash with the serving of pork and bread with no butter or gravy so was pretty impossible to swallow.. the staff to be polite were Incompetent and rude so as a couple who are planning our own wedding for next year it’ll definitely be a no from us..I’d just like to add that the actual ceremony itself was perfect but sadly everything after that ..well

We had our wedding at The Barn at Barons Hill Farm on Saturday and it really was the best day of our lives. The venue was perfect- beautiful, calm and had enough space and separate areas for people to relax, mingle and enjoy themselves. Lisa and her husband are lovely people and I really got the impression that they wanted the day to be perfect for us, they worked hard and made the day run smoothly. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue, we loved it and our guests had an amazing time too!

A magical setting for our wedding... We got married last June and had both the ceremony and reception at The Barn at Barons Hill Farm. Having only got engaged the previous October, we were so lucky to find the venue and wouldn't change it for the world. Lisa and Rupert were both always welcoming, helpful and did their utmost to make sure that our day was everything that we wanted (even to Rupert dashing out on the Friday to get us more coconuts for our coconut shy!) We had our ceremony in their top field, surrounded with views of Dartmoor and it was spectacular. The photographs were amazing with the green fields and rolling hills of Devon as a back drop. Lisa ran the day behind the scenes (something I hadn't expected) and I can safely say that the day wouldn't have run so smoothly had she not - plus I would have probably had a few moments stressing about making sure things were happening. Instead, I got to do what all brides should - relax and enjoy the incredible day knowing that everything was under control. My only wish - that we could go back and do it all again!!

Beautiful venue in a lovely location, immaculate facilities, Lisa is a delightful host and goes out of her way to make your event really special. The best choice you can make if you want a bespoke to your own requirements, unique and memorable day.

great venue, great young, smart staff. lovely to see a proper Devon country wedding run by a family. staff and owner did everything they could to make our friends day the perfect wedding, its been 2 months now and they're still buzzing with their amazing day.

This venue is the perfect venue for a farm wedding. My husband and I had the most amazing day. The staff were incredible, nothing was to much to for them. The venue in its self is stunning, the views of the countryside along with the sunset make's perfect pictures. All of guest commented on how lovely the venue was and how relax and informal we made our day. Our thanks go to Lisa and her team for making our day perfect.

Really loved this place, the barn itself is the perfect venue and is set in a beautiful location. The owners were lovely and the day ran incredibly smoothly. We were made very welcome by the helpful and friendly staff who served us the most delicious food throughout the day. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
