The Merchant Adventurers' Hall

The Merchant Adventurers' Hall Hall hosts weddings throughout the year and is a light and spacious venue for weddings in the Spring and Summer whilst the Hall is warm and atmospheric and offers a unique experience for anyone choosing to get married during the winter. The Hall is a wonderfully romantic setting for large or small wedding parties and can accommodate 20 to 180 guests for ceremonies and receptions. Larger ceremonies take place in the stunning timber framed Great Hall, whilst small ceremonies are held in the intimate and elegant Governor's Parlour. Afterwards, celebrate with a dinner in the captivating and breath-taking Great Hall followed by an evening reception in the atmospheric Undercroft. The Hall also boasts a large secluded walled garden which provides an ideal setting for a pre-dinner drinks reception and plenty of potential for photographs to capture the special day! There is also a varied choice in what caterer you would like to choose at the Hall. The Hall boasts six approved caterers who will provide delicious food and drink whilst delivering exemplary service.
