The William Cecil

We had our wedding at the William Cecil just over a week ago & it was fabulous! We instantly fell in love with the original features and grounds. We also found Amy and her team to be super friendly and helpful throughout - nothing was too much. We wanted a laid back, relaxed wedding & that's exactly what we got. Wishing we could go back and do it all again.

Thank you so much to everyone at The William Cecil for making our day so magical. We couldn't have asked for a better day, everything was absolutely perfect. We didn't stop smiling from start until finish and even now, we're both still smiling about how incredible the day was. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding and we really do look forward to coming to see you all again in the future.

We could not have wished for a more helpful and thoughtful wedding planner than Amy. She was thorough, imaginative and professional - a pleasure to work with. The venue is fantastic, food delicious and the staff on the day of our celebration (led by Ria) were all brilliant. I would recommend The William Cecil to anyone for their wedding celebration.

We held our wedding here last week. Amy organised the wedding before hand brilliantly. Shane and Rhea on the day were fantastic along with all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I husband and I celebrated our wedding here at the William Cecil and wow what a day. The hotel is simply beautiful and definitely has that something extra if that’s what you’re looking for. The food was delicious and everything seemed to run smoothly. Nothing was too much for the staff and the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean we simply had the best wedding day we could’ve ever asked for. We would deafly recommend William Cecil for your wedding day can’t thank them enough for the most beautiful day.

We had our wedding here on Saturday and we absolutely loved the venue. The garden pavilion looked beautiful. Weather was on our side, marquee stunning, and we had the best day. The staff were helpful and polite. Food was amazing.. canapes were so delicious, followed by our wedding BBQ. Everyone complimented the venue. Our room was beautiful, loved the bath!! Neil and I had the most amazing weekend for our wedding two week ago! The whole team went above and beyond to make every part of our dream come true, nothing was too much to ask. I’ve had loads of comments on how beautiful the venue was on the day! We will definitely be returning for a weekend on our anniversary. The William Cecil was the venue for my daughters Wedding. We arrived the day before the Wedding the Staff were wonderful and looked after everything and nothing was to much trouble. I would recommend this Hotel for anyone thinking of a looking for a wedding venue. I would go back to this Hotel again. I would like to thank all the Staff at the William Cecil for all their hard work and making my daughter wedding such a wonderful day.
